The Fiat Panda took second place in 1981. When a successor finally came in 2003, that Panda became the Car of the Year 2004 with 281 points. That equals 48.4%, so the winning Panda is not in the Top 50. The original Panda is, as you can see. In other words, 2nd place in 1981 was a better score than winning in 2004.
