THREE TIMES NINE
February, winter, snow

I don't know about you, but if I have to link a month to winter, December is the first that comes to mind. While for two-thirds of that month it's still autumn (or fall, if you like). The first two months of the year are really the heart of winter. For example, most editions of the Elfstedentocht ("Eleven cities tour", a long-distance tour skating event on natural ice) were held in February - just sayin'. And although it hasn't been an annual phenomenon for a while (in the Netherlands, at least), when I think of winter, I think of snow. Hence this 3x9: February, winter, snow.
THREE TIMES NINE
Originally there were three Germanic language families: North, East and West Germanic. Unfortunately, all East Germanic languages have died out, but fortunately North and West Germanic languages are still there. In the section THREE TIMES NINE, every month on the 27th, I put three words in nine of those languages next to each other. In contrast to the series WEST GERMANIC, in this case, I leave the comparison to you. Have fun comparing!
