Omgaan

waarom die overgewaardeerde waterlanders
die voorspelbare vochtige ogen, tragische tranen
als je het woedend weg kunt stoppen
binnenvettend boos kunt worden
verdrietige verwijten kunt maken
schandelijk kunt schelden
stil zwijgen
zwijgend staren
staren zonder te knipperen
de koude wind op je ogen voelen
tot ze tranen.

Why would you cry in case of grief
why those overrated waterworks
those predictable misty eyes, tragic tears
if you can stuff it away furiously

until they water.
