¹This title doesn't really work in English. In Dutch, stilstand means both "stagnation" and "standstill", and it has the word stil ("silent") in it. The expression stilstand is achteruitgang translates to "stagnation means decline", but it's not "stagnation" what I mean here. What I do mean is something like "taking a pause to let your mind wander can be very helpfull".
